These indeed are the first spy shots of the BMW CS Concept, which the company said was not up for production then many might be left more disappointed than elated. The ‘CS Concept’, which was showcased at the 2008 Shanghai Auto Show, is a four door luxury sedan with plenty of space in the inside, aggressive front end styling, a sloping rear and a powerful BMW engine to drive it on. It still looks highly unlikely that the CS, which is more of a precursor to the future production model of BMW, will actually ever hit production. Any guesses on what the pictures are guys?

subaruVery hot!! The Subaru Legacy Concept is all set to mark the company 20th anniversary with it’s release at the North American International Auto Show in January 2009. The Legacy Concept will indicate the direction Subaru has in mind for the future Legacy and the first little teaser is out for all of us to start speculating. The teaser in the dark does not reveal much beyond the flashy LED driving lights and the slotted front spoiler beneath the bumper.

Ford Focus RS

Wednesday, December 10th, 2008

ford-focus-rs-2009Debuted at the British Auto Show a couple of months ago, the new Ford Focus RS has officially made it to production. With a sporty exterior that features a black grille, some sporty hood vents, a rear spoiler and diffuser, a dual exhaust, 19-inch wheels and Recaro wheels, the RS looks pretty mean. And it is mean. Under the hood there’s a five-cylinder 2.5l turbocharged engine that sports 296hp and gets the car from still to 60mph in just 5.9 seconds. Top speed is 155mph (electronically topped) but should easily reach 160 mph if the limiter would be removed. As for the price, in UK they’re expecting it to sell for a bit below £25,000 (some $30,000).

Nissan 370Z

nissan-370zVery Stylish Package I think for this car! Nissan Japan for their 370Z very cool car. Featuring a front spoiler, a rear wing with an integrated third-stop light, clear crystal rear tail lamps (wicked, right?), the ‘Z’ scruff plates and what Nissan calls … “Sports Horn” (can’t tell which is it), the new stylish package is only going to be available in Japan. Looks pretty simple, but damn hot at the same time. Isn’t it?

Lotus Evora!! Very Cool Car

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

lotus-evoraIf you are planning to gift yourself a Lotus Evora or you’re just another plain old car fanatic with no popular claim to fame, then forget about it. Lotus’ most proud production since Elise 133 years ago, Evora has a host of celebrities lining up to get behind its wheel and take the baby out on road. The list includes names like, Daniel Craig, Dave Grohl, George Clooney and London mayor Boris Johnson. The car can hit from 0-60 mph in less than 5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 160 mph, yet it is its ultra-cool styling and that Lotus feel that makes it unique and special. Only 2000 of these will be built each year, so just get behind the line mate.

Volkswagen is all set to forget about the disaster that the Golf V Plus was in terms of wooing consumers and sales numbers and has moved forward with the Golf VI Plus which is all set to debut at the Bologna Motor Show. The upgraded version of the fifth vesion sports narrower headlights, a lower profile, redesigned roof rails and a more attractive look. The interiors of the VI Plus though surprisingly remain unaltered from the Golf V Plus and it is powered by the likes of 2.0-litre TDI, 1.4 TSI under its hood. For now, the price tag on the Golf VI Plus is not yet known.
