Bugatti Prepare Super Electric Car

Monday, May 31st, 2010

London – After preparing powerful 1200 hp supercar, exotic Italian car maker Bugatti seemed unable to put the brakes on innovation. Now, the electric-powered 800 hp supercar would be prepared. The plan, seemed at once will change the way we look at the electric car that had been underestimated just a matter of performance.

As reported by Autoexpress, Monday (05/31/2010) his prototype will be based on the chassis of the Bentley Continental GT, and will be shown to exhibit Bugatti technology. This electric-powered Bugatti will be pinned package advanced lithium-ion batteries and two electric motors that can generate up to 2200 nm of torque from zero RPM rotation.

But the problem to be faced Bugatti is managing the abundance of energy released during acceleration, while keeping fixed the battery is full, even when the acceleration re-charging batteries are just minutes away. According to sources in the British company, the electric-powered Bugatti This allows engineers to explore the highest performance available from
an electric car.

Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

A new styling and performance package for the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4. The new package gives you the ability to completely overhaul your car’s exterior by adding carbon fiber components such as a boot cover (for about €3990), a front bumper (€2990) and a front splitter (just €990). But that’s not all you’re getting as this little monster comes with a matte black foil wrap (€3000), more aggressive side skirts (€3990), mirrors and custom boot lid vents (€4000). The package holds some goodies for the car’s interior as well, such as a carbon fiber trim for the steering wheel, new handbrake and dashboard, and new door handles – all for a mere €5000. But if you’re not into looks, only, there’s also a performance package for the 5.2l V10 engine, boosting power to 620 hp and 575 Nm torque.

Porsche Panamera PS9-650

Friday, November 20th, 2009

Expected to make its debut at the Essen Motor Show in Germany, the folks from SpeedART have finally decided to release an actual photo set depicting their Porsche Panamera PS9-650 tuning package. If up until now, we’ve only been given concept drawings and sketches, we know for sure that the little beast can generate up to 650 horsepower with a 890 Nm of torque, has been equipped with a new turbo system and intercoolers and a new exhaust system.

When it comes to numbers, the Porsche Panamera PS9-650 sprints to 62mph in just 3.5 seconds, on its way to a top speed of over 200mph. Those who like it should know that car is also offered in less powerful 600, 550 and 520 hp variants.

The Corvette C6 GTR

Thursday, October 29th, 2009

Specter Werkes is working up its magic on the Vette again and unlike the GTR it came up with last summer, the one that it will showcase SEMA on November 3 will be a deadlier version. The BASF Pearl Blue exterior color and HRE CF40 carbon fiber wheels on the exterior will give it a desirable look on the outside but what matters most is what it gets under the hood — a 7.0L LS7 V8 at the heart with a twin-turbo setup from Lingenfelter Performance Engineering renders a mind-boggling 800 horsepower. To keep all those ponies in safe place, the Vette C6 GTR comes with StopTech brakes at the front and the rear. On top of that a revised exhaust system was also mandatory to accommodate that much power and Specter Werkes have used a Corsa option for assistance in this case. Mind-blowing, eh?

Subaru Impreza WRX STI

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

The Subaru Impreza WRX STI Carbon has broken cover in Tokyo but to everyone’s surprise the engine is mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox to spoil the fun of driving on the back of a monster. Based on the A-Line special edition, the STI Carbon chooses a carbon fiber roof instead of the normal panel which lowers the centre of gravity and simultaneously reduces the weight of the vehicle. As far as the interior goes, unlike the standard STI, the STI Carbon is lined in suede. Under the hood is a 2.5L four-banger that produces 296 hp. The manual gearbox version slated for the US will render 305hp. Subaru is calling it the display model but the A-Line derivation for the automatic gearbox will be a part of the production facility rolled models as well.

Toyota Kaira

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Tuners don’t spare anything, not even the hybrid cars, which means that the Toyota Prius couldn’t be missed. No one would appreciate toying with the engines for these green babies, therefore Tommy Kaira just took care of the exterior and nothing more. As far as Tommy Kaira is concerned — which by the way thinks there’s life for “eco car tuning”, they integrated the Prius with lower front lips, larger front air dams, and thicker rims. He made the side skirts wider and gave the car a new rear bumper. They also got rid of the Prius logo (not advisable after shelling all that money on a green baby) and attached four tailpipes which makes it guised green beast. Not bad, at all!
